How will Kerry fare against Parsons in a lights-out match? Can Gordy and Shaun topple the tag champs? With Halloween around the corner, will the Reaper collect a soul?
Opening montage.
Match 1: The Hood versus Bob “The Cat” Bradley
Highlights:
- Bradley slammed Hood and followed with a back drop.
- When he hip-tossed Hood, Bradley dumped him with a Samoan drop for 2.
- He clotheslined Hood but got nailed attempting another back drop.
- As Hood suplexed him, he mounted the second turnbuckle, leaped, but there wasn’t any water in the pool.
- Hood dealt Bradley a gorilla press flapjack and pinned him at 3:24.

Summary: Showcase match for Hood who paid tribute to the former Dingo Warrior.
At ringside, Percy Pringle interviews Tatum and Victory. Tatum “apologizes” to Steve but cuts a promo on Shaun.

Match 2: The “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich & Shaun Simpson versus “Iceman” King Parsons & Buddy “Jack” Roberts
Highlights:
- This match occurred on 5/15 and was joined in progress.
- As Parsons tagged in, he snap-suplexed Shaun for 2.
- He clotheslined Shaun and tagged Roberts.
- When Kerry stormed in, he belted Roberts with a discus punch.
- What should have been a false tag became a legitimate one while Kerry got the HOT TAG.
- With all four wrestlers in the ring, Shaun unloaded a ten-punch count-along to Roberts.
- Shaun hooked an inside cradle on Roberts and pinned him at 2:32 shown.
Rating: NONE
Summary: Too short to rate, but Roberts put Shaun over to earn the squeals from the young Mesquite female faithful.
After the match, Angel of Death infiltrates the ring and BLASTS Kerry in the back with a plastic chair. Heinous! Upon disposing Shaun outside the ring, the heels triple-team Kerry. Angel of Death holds Kerry atop the chair, and Parsons mounts the top turnbuckle with his cane. Oh no! When Kerry escapes in the nick of time, Parsons leaps and nails the chair instead. Kerry grabs the chair and chases them off.
Let’s return to big D.
At ringside, Pringle interviews Kerry who cuts a solid promo on Parsons.
Match 3: Samu versus Jim Richards
Highlights:
- Richards reversed a cross corner whip but ate a spin kick on his follow-through.
- When he connected with a standing dropkick, Samu headbutted Richards.
- Meanwhile, both Roberts and Parsons approached ringside to scout Samu.
- Speaking of Samu, he hoisted Richards atop the top turnbuckle, joined, and connected with a belly-to-back superplex. Wow!
- As he mounted the top turnbuckle, Samu delivered a diving head butt.
- 1-2-3.
- Samu won at 2:00.

At ringside, Pringle interviews General Skandor Akbar who, for the second straight week, promises to bring Kamala back to World Class.
Match 4: Grim Reaper (w/ Angel of Death) versus Mike Morrow
Highlights:
- Reaper shoved him, but Morrow rolled him up for 1.
- As Morrow dropkicked him twice, Reaper shrugged him off.
- He slammed Morrow and followed with an elbow drop.
- When he gave Morrow a cross corner whip, Reaper dealt him a kick to the back.
- He hoisted Morrow atop the top turnbuckle, but Morrow fell down to the floor. Oops.
- After he repeated the spot, Reaper joined and superplexed Morrow.
- 1-2-3.
- Reaper won at 2:57.

At ringside, Pringle interviews Michael P.S. Hayes who cuts a promo on Roberts.
Match 5 (non-title): WCWA Texas and Wild West tag team champions “Hollywood” John Tatum & the “Heartthrob of New Jersey” Jack Victory versus Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy & Shaun Simpson
Highlights:
- At the onset, Shaun beat the PISS out of both Tatum and Victory.
- Tags were exchanged on both sides, and Tatum bounced Gordy from pillar to post.
- When tags were exchanged on both sides again, Shaun dropkicked Victory.
- Tatum tagged in, mounted the top turnbuckle, and the tag champs demolished Shaun for 2.
- As Victory tagged in, the Dallas faithful chanted “go, Shaun, go.”
- Victory unleashed a series of elbow smashes, but Shaun thwarted a back drop attempt.
- Hot tag Gordy.
- After the heels got rammed together, Shaun whipped Gordy and annihilated Victory in doing so.
- Gordy sent him in the corner, so Shaun unfurled a ten-punch count-along upon Tatum.
- While Shaun whipped Gordy again, Tatum backdropped the latter over the top rope to the floor.
- Referee Rick Hazzard called for the bell and disqualified the tag champs.
- As a result, Gordy and Shaun won by DQ at 6:32.
Rating: ***
Summary: Exciting tag match with the big man/little man babyface tag team dynamic.
Afterward, Victory chop-blocks Shaun while Angel of Death approaches ringside to ambush Gordy. He rams Gordy face-first into a steel chair and WALLOPS him with it. Vicious! Upon ramming Gordy face-first into Pulley’s table, he joins the tag champs in the ring to triple-team Shaun. Gordy regains his composure, grabs the chair, and chases the heels off.
Prior to the main event, Parsons snatches the microphone away from Pulley and runs down Kerry.
Match 6 (lights-out, no DQ, non-title): WCWA World champion the “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich versus “Iceman” King Parsons
Highlights:
- Before the bell, Parsons ambushed Kerry and BLASTED him with the belt.
- Kerry couldn’t remove his robe, and Parsons ruthlessly headbutted the BEJEEZUS out of him.
- As a result, Kerry was BUSTED OPEN!
- Parsons gave Kerry a cross corner whip and clotheslined him.
- When referee Bronko Lubich reached six, Parsons further attacked Kerry.
- Parsons mounted the second turnbuckle, leaped, but Kerry nailed him.
- After Parsons blocked a discus punch, he clotheslined Kerry again.
- Parsons attempted a butt butt; however, Kerry evaded him.
- While Kerry successfully scored with a discus punch, Lubich reached eight.
- The match segued to the floor, and Kerry made Parsons HIT THE POLE.
- Whacking Parsons with a chair, Kerry returned Parsons to the ring.
- Kerry dealt Parsons a knee drop, and Lubich counted to eight again.
- Blocking an Iron claw, Parsons kicked Kerry away.
- Parsons headbutted Kerry again and mounted the top turnbuckle.
- Leaping, Parsons fell victim to an Iron claw.
- Roberts approached ringside, but WE’RE OUTTA TIME!

Summary: Wild main event where the finish will be shown next week.
Conclusion: Lack of finish in the main event aside, the molten crowd helped both matches feel BIG TIME. The Dallas faithful were bloodthirsty for Kerry to give Parsons his comeuppance. In addition, Gordy and Shaun stood so incredibly formidable that the tag champs desperately needed to extricate themselves from the match.
Next week, we skip a week.
Nevertheless, we’ll get a rematch between Gordy/Shaun and the tag champs in a Texas tornado match!
