Rating: ***

Summary:  The temporary knockout of Austin derailed what could have been a spectacular match. Instead, it had some fascinating spots but lacked a meaty story to feed the MSG faithful.

Following the match, Undertaker grabs the belt, stares into Austin’s eyes, positions himself to annihilate, yet hands the title to him instead. Sportsmanship! Before the show leaves the air, Kane joins Undertaker in the aisle to stare down the WWF champion.

Conclusion:  What an entertaining and thrilling show. Obviously, Rock and HHH stole the show with their ladder match while the main event suffered due to an inadvertent botch. Otherwise, the rest of the card was truly entertaining and worth every penny. Enjoy!
